Were the commentators annoying anyone else tonight?

With their talk of how Davey has done an exceptional job at barnsley and then praising his great, brave attacking substitutions?</p>

This is why Davey is 'well thought of in football', because people that only see us twice a year have let the performances that they saw in the cup last season be the basis for their opinion of davey and not the other 90 or so games that the rest of us have had to watch.</p>

Davey has done an exceptional job? there has been no improvement since he took over, we finished closer to relegation last season than we did the year before and this season we're in the drop zone.</p>

His subs were brave and attacking? No, they were predictable and never going to work. To somebody watching their first match you might think it is a good move putting three strikers on but to someone who see's davey making the same subs every time we are losing it is just bloody stupid and annoying. Not brave at all, it is in fact the only thing that badge boy knows how to do when losing.</p>

And then the praise of KO. Apparently he was doing really well when he was 'winning' his headers. A shame he was heading them all to defenders like but we'll gloss over that shall we. Odejayi was LOSING the ball, not winning it.</p>

 

i just think that any sky panel with Beagrie on it will not have a decent thing to say about us, and what they do say will be patronising rubbish, (little Barnsley etc...)

 

Beagrie's normally very complimentary about Barnsley.

only problem i have with Beagrie is he looks like Jimmy Carr

 

Until OJ came on we never won a header near the Palace box. At least the lad looks like he's trying, unlike Rigters or Devanney who wouldn't get in a Sunday side. None of this detracts from the fact that if that is the best we can expect from our players under the current management, the that management is not good enough and needs changing.

 

I take it as him being patronising, i honestly can't recall him really saying anything complimenterary, but saying that, we usually don't give him chance as our performances on sky are that poor anyway.

 

Huddersfield in play-offs

At the Galpharm for the second leg for some reason the Sky preview came on the PA system and Beagrie said he fancied us turning it round and making the final and was roundly jeered by the Huddersfield fans.

Has praised us on numerous occasions, particularly when AR was in charge.
