He got better the longer he was with us Whether we improved him or he just settled I not sure but I think he left us a better player than he arrived. Just think it was a case of him being badly advised by a greedy agent. That said would he be an inprovement on the players we've got if they were all fit?.
it was very wierd what happened with him, as if you go one football manager they were under the impresion that he'd signed for us perminantly, but can only have been a loan
He would be a good (re)addition to the squad Wasnt a bad left back - not as good as Kozluck but better than Van Homet Best crosser of the ball we had first half of the season could play left midfield or left back and could kick the ball really really hard if needed
Yeah, he was certainly entertaining I think his presence in the team often gave the crowd a bit of a lift.
I reckon it was earlier that we started to struggle More like mid October. We beat Preston and Blackpool but were really flattered and drew with Burnley. The only games we played really well in since are Wolves and West Brom if you discount the cup games, Weve been poor for a long time and this is why I cant agree with people that blame the cup run on our league position.
Theres a lot of shafting going on in Turkey Apparently its part of their culture to do a bit off arseing before they get married. They reckon it preserves virginity. Some tashy bloke was telling me in the baths........
I don't know... The games like Bristol City away, Stoke at home, Watford at home we played well in. I think that the Southampton game was the turning point. Had we took our chances, that game was won. Instead, we nearly lost it, and from then on we've been poor.
RE: I don't know... I think the Stoke game at home as abit to answer for aswell to go in front 3 times and still not win
