My two grandsons are up from Birmingham for Christmas. They are both coming to the Match re Bolton. The youngest 10 yrs old supports West Brom and the oldest Aston Villa.. The youngest has for Christmas, got the official book for West Brom and it is very good. Has Barnsley got an official book? This one gives in colour all last years matches details on how they played and tactics by Steve Clarke their manager. Quite interesting. The book gives profiles of all their players, and of some of their past greats. It has a 26 questionnaire on the clubs past history. An interesting page is a player with a complete white strip. You are invited to design a home strip and an away strip for the teams new shirts etc. they are called The Throstles and their badge is a throstle perched on a holly strip with red berries. The book is a hardback and quite classy. It has numerous other articles of interest.
I am not aware that Barnsley has such a book but would sell well for young fans. It was interesting reading the managers articles, and I bet it would have been hilarious if Flicker or Keith Hill had done it. Would be great for Danny Wilson to contribute.
Would be a commercial asset for keeping for the future

Sounds like an interesting idea. Think it would appeal to some adults not just kids tbh - particularly the match and tactical analysis.

If one had the inclination to produce something along these lines, independent from the club, would one have to seek permission from the club?
