Please someone tell me why i should buy a ticket and go to this game because at the moment i am unsure about it (seestars) (dunno)
1) Because the entire 30,000 plus crowd all hate Blunts and FA, so the chants will be great. 2) It's the chance to spend the weekend in our glorious capital. 3) We don't play premiership teams every week, so make the most of it. 4) It's the best cup competition in the world, where form goes out of the window.
Old Trafford is alot more special than Upton Park in theory. Everyone went down to Wembley because it was special, a 3rd round tie down in London in freezing January against a mediocre premiership side is nothing compared to going to Old Trafford & playing the worlds best. Edit : This isn't my reason for not going btw - i think i will go.
Yeah but what i'm trying to say is that, If you're a "True" Barnsley fan, you will go and watch them regardless who they are playing. I shall be there without a doubt. Like Dreamboy said we don't play Premiership teams every week.
Agree with you on that one. True fans shouldn't need reasons to go to the game, except one...and that's to watch Barnsley. I get to every home game & the odd away game every season because i have no job, but when i do i reckon ill be at something like 5-6 away games a season.
I said "glorious" in a sarcastic manner that didn't come off the same as it would have said in person lol.
They are 15th, so currently the 15th best team in the country. Hardly mediocre and a win tonight puts them in the top half.
Have any of you ever been to West Ham? If no, then don't. Or if you are insistent, be very, very careful. If yes, then why the hell would you want to go there again? I went to the game in the Premiership season when they smashed 6 past us and it wasn't pleasant coming out. I was only 11 at the time and I was getting spit on by opposing fans. There were people kicking lumps out of each other. We got our coach smashed to pieces. It was terrible. I'd gone with my mum and I can honestly say it was one of my worst footballing experiences ever - even Cardiff and Millwall were better. The only one that would come close to West Ham away would be Birmingham. I hope times have changed down there, and that the fans going down have a great day, but I for one will not be going to that hell-hole. Anyways, Come on you Reds!
