Pellegrini's sacking been rumoured for weeks so not really a surprise. Wonder if they will get the new manager bounce like Pearson at Watford and Ancelloti is now 2 from 2 at Everton. I read recently West Ham were going to look at Chris Wilder as a possible replacement!
If ever a manager wanted sacking for the pay off it's Pellegrini. Walks into the wilderness absolutely minted.
In fairness he did a very good job for them the last time round. They were in freefall, he came in and got them going again. Think their fans took to him in the end.
Always had a feeling for that club. Been twice with us and they’ve been excellent with us. Remember them hammering us at the well and we were joining in with conga with them lol. Anyhow they always seem to structure a good team together and it don’t work out since ever since my childhood. Hope they bounce back
That squad is fantastic too - he's underperforming massively. Wilder would be a fantastic addition imo, perhaps Potter who is also brilliant in my eyes. Ancelotti was a class signing for Everton, already changing things around.
My cousin in Poole is a big Hammers fan and has a season ticket there. Just e-mailed me to say he's totally underwhelmed at the news that Moyes is now officially West Ham's new manager. He says he will not a popular appointment as far as a lot of fans will be concerned.
Slightly strange appointment I’d be underwhelmed too. He was hardly a raging success last time he was there hard to see what’s changed to suddenly make him a much better prospect this time
I too have a liking for West ham - not sure why! But David Moyes - guy sort of oozes (sp) gloom and despondency.
He appeared full of it on TV yesterday. His best line I thought was, I have the best win record of a number of managers. No mention of the number of managers though , could be 90, could be 2, Very Trumpian!
