    Evening all,

Never mind Boots 3 for 2. We've just had 2018 West Stand Bogs calendars printed up, and they look bob on. Photos by Ian Parker, all proceeds to local charity.

They will be on sale in Redfearn's on 9th December, before Derby match. £15. Or you can order online, £18.99 inc. postage.

As always, your support is massively appreciated.

I know I'm going to be lynched for this, and obviously I want WSB to sell thousands of these for charity, but I just don't get it. Are the photos ironic, memory provoking, or ... what? Every year I feel like I'm missing something.

Would you get it more, if there was a 50p off voucher involved?

Maybe if it was a quid.

Seriously though, is there something behind the pictures I'm missing? I'm just wondering how they are chosen and what the inspiration behind each one is. I've never understood art.

I personally think his photographs are superb. They capture things about both the Club and the town, that no one else does

Don't get me wrong, I'm not doubting his ability, I just don't understand it. I know the calenders always sell out and they are for a fantastic cause so I'm not in any way knocking it, I just wanted a bit of educating on it really.

Have you seen the floodlight one? In the puddle? That is genius.

The one from the other year where he’s got the one way road sign in shot, with fans making their way to Oakwell.

    Genius.

There's 4 pictures there, two of which are the same floodlight in puddle reflection and two featuring some other ground and team so I don't get it either. Why the pics of the team/ground in blue and yellow?

They're £15 if you collect from Redfearn's. Costs £4 each to post out

For 15 quid on a calendar the only damp thing id want to see wouldn't be a puddle

Makes even less sense if that's true. I doubt a Shaw Lane calendar would have pictures of Oakwell on it. Unless those pics are just an example of the photographer's work and aren't actually on the calendar.

    Really?

I’d rather donate £15 than have a calendar wi them on to be honest.
