Got to agree with him that Alnwick shouldn't have been booked in injury time. He should have been sent off for his 2nd booking for time wasting half an hour earlier.
Can't disagree with his Hourihane comments. The time wasting comments show what a clown he is though. Sent from my iPhone
So he's blaming it on the yellow card. Which he could and should have received at any point in the game. Priceless. Cap end.
Ben Alnwick and their whole team time wasted the entire second half he was lucky to be the only posh player booked. We just gave em a taste of their own medicine for 3 mins.
Yep, Alnwick was slow enough from minute one and we had to wait whilst their ponderous centre half ran to the touchline before he'd release the ball every time it was in his hands or from a goal kick. (Wasn't grumbling too much then as this bizarre tactic was inviting us on and we pressed them in to losing the ball a few times). After the sending off Alnwick moved into super slow mo and could/should have been booked at least eight times. Lastly, a genuine question and excuse my ignorance but was the six second rule abolished? Or has it been replaced with a sixty second rule 'cos that's roughly the length of time he was taking with most of his ball-in-hand clearances in the second half?
"Could easily have scored" I can't recall Peterborough really ever getting in our half for more than 30 seconds at a time. Certainly not a single spell of sustained pressure. Came for a point and got nothing which was exactly what they deserved.
spot on CT. I wonder if he knows what 'equitability' means or does he think the longer the word he uses the better it sounds.
i think they did get rid of the keepers 3/4 step rule, but yes the 6 second rule should still exist and keepers get away with it far too often. another rule that also gets ignored is throw ins should take place where the ball went out of play, but who gets pulled up on that now eh lol. as for their manager ballaching about this and that, is he really serious about we were the ones at fault ? !!
Sweet justice when a manager who has clearly told his team to waste time gets bitten on the arse by it. They were doing it before they were down to 10 men. Got some sympathy for the sending off but another ref would probably have given a red for the first offence anyway. Wonder if there's any Irish "history" between Hourihane and Forres ter?
