One tiny, tiny positive from this mess is it's showing up the likes of Martin for who they really are, other than jingoistic morons - nasty, despicable, uncaring pieces of filth. Hopefully all of his staff find other jobs and refuse to come back once places start opening again. I like Wetherspoons but will be loathe to set foot in one while scum like him are at the head of it.
Absolutely detest Weatherspoons and always have. Plus they're also responsible for the worst meal ever served to me. Chewing cardboard would have been more enjoyable. Hope they crash and burn. Rant over!
