Plus a not yet fit Noble-Lazarus and then it's the kids. That's assuming there's some truth to the Haynes rumours and we're not going to use him.

Addison has gone back to Derby so we either bring in Gray or Edwards. I'd go for Edwards and play a similar system to Saturday with Foster moving to right back and Hassell in to midfield to play the Addison role. The alternative is to play Gray and Davies up front in a 4-4-2.

Either way we're well short on players. Get any more injuries and we'll really struggle to put out a side for the Swansea game.

Surely bobby has got play alongside Perkins in centre mid

We'd be wide open with a centre mid involving Done and Perkins.

A headache for Keith Hill, but the sort of headache he thrives.

Unless we put Wiseman to RB and Done on the right with a kid playing as the third attacking player. Although far from ideal. If Gray does start it needs to be a proper 4-4-2 cos it didn't work on Saturday with him in behind. Isn't his game and doesn't have the pace for it.

Got to go for Bobby in the middle for me, shame we haven't got Doyle here. Why didn't we put a recall clause in his loan deal?!

But we'll get ripped to shreds with no defensive midfielder, we always do.

    ...............Hassell......Perkins...................

    Wiseman..........Done...................Vaz Te

    ....................Davies............................

Let's see the last two home defeats have come after playing an attacking midfielder in a deeper role asking them to track back and cover.
Yet you want to try the same again with someone who has half a dozen first team games under his belt and has only just got back to somewhere near fitness.

That extra L gives us a bit more cover in the middle.

A point may be a good result today, the kids have done okay in the past lets hope they can step up to the plate once more if called upon.

Only takes a Butterfieldesque hatchet job and one of the youngsters will be on.

I think we might have got lucky today as the Doncaster African trios clearance hasn't come through. Which given as they appear to be monsters a blessing in disguise.
Issue is that they still have a lot of the players from the days when they looked half decent.. Stock oster Sharp and so forth strengthened with a number of decent players. Diouf etc.
Saying that you wouldn't be 'scared' of gillet is just blowing hot air about as I suspect that hemsworths knowledge about him is very limited outside of ssn.
They will look at the team sheet and see this as a chance to do us over. Starting with half fit kids plays straight into their hands.

We have got some good kids though. I wouldn't be overly concerned if we had 1 in the team. RNL, Digby, Stones, all seem mature for their age. Chance for one to shine maybe.

I kinda agree except maybe it would be better for the team if we move just one player instead of three....stright swap Edwards for Addison..and leave Hassell n Foster alone...

Never said they are not talented or mature but I don't think today is the game to be chucking them in at the deep end. They will be wanting to chuck the kitchen sink taps and all at us. Will need as many wise heads as possible on the field.

However second half against tiring legs would be a sensible option.

Ah, I saw that he wasn't playing for Preston today and jumped to the wrong conclusion. Clutching at straws!
