I've only ever known it as 'cheese and egg in t'oven'- someone, somewhere must know it's origin, surely?

It looks like the 'pavement pizzas' that you find in town on a Sunday morning

When the pissheads have been throwing up on a Saturday Night

Absoloutley delicious. Me Dad used to make it all time when we were kids - used to love soaking up the juice with a slice of bread!

    If

It looks like cheese & egg done in t'oven, smells like cheese & egg done in t'oven & tastes like cheese & egg done in t'oven, it must be cheese & egg done in t'oven.

No need for a poncey name, just tell it like it is.

When I was younger, Dad used to make it every Saturday before we went to the match. Lovely stuff.
