    Either the colour saturation on that photo is wrong and both birds have just shaken or they are Northern race Bullfinches. If that's what you have in the garden Windy you're going to have a garden full of twitchers.

    had 4 magpies at once, robin, sparrow, blackbird and a red kite in ours.

    saw a pike today

    was massive - about the size of a cricket bat. Just chillin in Leeds canal. Never seen one before.

    Didnt fancy dipping my foot in put it that way.

    Bullfinches, Chaffinches, bluetits , great tits, yellow hammers,siskins

    wagtails both pied and grey in abundence, suggest you all go out walking yer dogs more and open yer eyes :)

    like baby but i cant type! Pike in the UK go upto just under 50lb. One a cricket bat size maybe 8-10lbs top and would have been male.

    I had one similar to this that turned up in the garden last year - poor thing though was obviously struggling and pegged it. Not seen any before or since. got blue tits nesting this year and see other finches as well.
