apparently Johnson will get more goals next season then Hayes

but saying that, Scunny fans prefere players like Walters who work there b*llox of and score nowt then being "Lazy" and scoring 20 goals a season.

Friendlies dont really tell you anything remember we beat Leicester last pre-season and narrowly lost to Championship winners Sunderland, yet failed to set a p*ss-poor league alight

 

Don't read anything into pre season - recall the season when we almost got relegated (Mel Machin saved us) - I think we won 6-0 at home to York pre-season, was just as I was moving back to tarn after 4 years darn sarf. We won every pre-season game I think, and I thought "yes...this is why I'm coming back, we are going to have a great season"....how wrong I was!
Seem to think other seasons we've had a dreadful pre-season results wise and had good seasons, don't think our pre-season in '96 was that good.

 

I hope we carry on winning...

in preseason...it will do confidence good although as you say a good preseason does not always mean a good season....when it comes to the league if your team has a bit if talent and a lot of hard work then it wont go far wrong..
