There chairman did say last nite that he wouldnt stand in his way if we did make an approach. Down to Robins now......
i aint too sure about this at all to be honest. I would like to know if we have approached any big name managers at all to see what they where asking. between robins or wilson who would you pick?
Jubilant Blackpool get Ian Holloway Colchester get Ady Boothroyd We're talking to Mark Robins. Im over the moon. Inspired appointment.
It's slightly more inspired then the appointment of Simon Davey was at the time and you thought he was to us, like Alex Ferguson is to Man U.
Paul Jewell Or another manager who has a proven track record above League 2. Even a promotion season under their belt would be a start. Avoiding relegation is our target, admittedly, but getting a bloke who's managed it in League 2 is just, well, ****. In a word.
Whilst i'd have preferred someone with the experience of Curbs/Jewell etc... Robins is a much better appointment than Tony fecking Adams.
And yet, we're only talking to him. Who is to say we haven't already spoken to the likes of Jewell/Curbs anyway? If they club have narrowed down from 20 to 3/4, then i'd hope they'll talk to them all, and pick the best candidate.
Hoping Robins is just 1 of 3/4 managers we've got our eye on!

yeah just noticed it was too but reckon he would have been better option than robins. Dont wanna slate robins too much as if he comes i will back him but hard to know whats happening until a manager gets appointed
