2 per Ambassador (early s/t buyer), 3 if you renew before March 31st! 1 per S/T holder.

That'll be 2 for me then.

My phone's hardly stopped ringing with people, on the pretext of a "chat", but ends in "by the way, any chance of a ticket". Even had a guy from an Indian call centre, lol.

With my spare, I'll be doing the same as every normal, genuine football fan - it's straight on Ebay :D

Think we've got 8500 Ambassadors and around 1000 s/t holders, something around that mark anyway.

Personally, I feel the clubs are in a no-win situation tbh. Whatever policy is announced, there's always going to be someone you upset.

Read on here earlier that some were questioning whether you'd sell your allocation or not. Oh yes, you'll sell it. You'll be amazed how many come out of the woodwork professing to have not missed a game in a zillion years.

Ours will go in no-time as well. It took 2 days to sell our 38k for the MillStad (mainly because the ticket office couldn't cope) and there seems to be lots more interest in this one!

I think we should do something like that

Tie it in with renewing or buying a season ticket.

    Nah

I think we should carry on giving priority to people that might never have been before.

    I'm a little concerned ......

30 years this month since my first Reds match. 15 years as a season ticket holder, though not for the last 9 (since the family started). My young 'un is desperate to see this semi (yes, he has been to Oakwell many times) and TBH I share his excitement but truly fear I won't get down there to see it.

    Will be gutted. Heartbroken.

    I've always found...

...that if you try hard enough, you'll get a ticket.

It's very rarely (I can't think of a time tbh) when we've played in these big games and mates of mine have been unable to get tickets.

Liverpool this year was an absolute nightmare, we'd sold out or 6k in no time, but we managed to round up about 20 spare tickets between us. Every iron we put in the fire came in, unbelievable.

    Where there's a will....

    I'm with you ...

... 30 years this year, many season tickets, but not this time, kids beginning to form a bond with the club and what ???

    The club couldn't give a toss !

    No probs

Of course I was pleased to get Barnsley. No doubt you felt the same.

At the end of the day, we're the two lowest ranked clubs left in it and it's a game either of us can win. Depends who wants it more on the day.

Think I would have preferred West Brom though as we've done very well against them this year and that may have been in the back of their minds. We've played them twice at the Hawthorns and scored 7 goals up there!

Having said that, we're in the semi-final of the FA Cup so I wasn't really bothered who we got.

    Like you

Wasn't really too bothered who we got - we had reasons for wanting to avoid West Brom though.

But it's the semi-final of the FA Cup....who'd have thought we'd both be saying that at the start of the season.....and to win it you have to beat 2 of the remaining 3 sides anyway!
