who cares ..there is a young lad in a bad way... BFC is nowt right now

the welfare of young Fabrice Muamba is above all just now, so we should just forget about today and all join in mind to hope this young life can pull through.

True, puts things into perspective. Same with the minutes silence at Oakwell today (well respected by both sets of fans) for the soldiers - after that I thought how little it makes football.

Barry there is a thread about that lad and there is nothing other than concerns for him on it, but dont forget what this site is for mate, its about BFC and I think we are still entitled to talk about BFC on it.
If you dont want to contribute to these discussions fair enough, stay out of them and concentrate on the other thread.

Disagree. I, like everyone, hope that Muamba pulls through and makes a full recovery but he isn't the only person to have been taken seriously ill today. While I am typing this somebody somewhere will be having an heart attack. Since he collapsed there will have been people rushed to Barnsley hospital in a serious condition. Somebody will have been rushed to your local hospital too. The same happened yesterday and last week and so on.

What i'm getting at is that it is very sad and serious but without being flippant that is life and it is nothing new. If we were to ignore everything else in our life because it isn't as important as life and death every time somebody somewhere in the world was taken ill then we might as well all stop living now because it happens every second of every day. Just because somebody 'famous' or a sportsman is taken ill I don't think it is any worse than any other innocent person who has a serious condition or even dies (no better either).

That's just my opinion, I know some will disagree.

Life goes on I'm afraid Dragon. I really hope the lad comes through and he makes a full recovery, but the world won't stand still for him.
