Being patted on the head and told we were the best team they'd played all season by clubs who'd just beaten us often by **** housing us and conning refs. It may not be my preferred way of playing or alot of other reds fans preferred style but my god it's wonderful to see and hear opposing managers and players crying salty tears because despite their tens of millions of pounds worth of players they've failed to beat little old Barnsley because instead of playing pretty football and losing we are getting in their faces and to quote a member of dads army they don't like it up em. To those reds fans who aren't happy about the way we are playing try taking the pragmatic view like me and enjoy the winning feeling and the discomfort of the many entitled clubs managers players and fans who Barnsley FC are right royally pissing off by beating.
Well done to all at Barnsley FC it's not always pretty but it's always highly satisfying.

There's a saying that it's not about the destination but the journey.
I'm afraid at least as far as home games are concerned it's entirely the three points at the end that is the reward because the journey to get them is awful.
I much prefer watching us play away these days.

I don't care how we play who we play when we play who we are playing 3 points makes me happy above all else as it does fans through the turnstiles (by numbers) up the reds

It is far better beating teams and hearing them complain about our style, than last season when we were patronised with praise in defeat.

You missed the 2018-19 season in L1 where we played most teams off the park but it was because we were actually one of the best / highest paid teams in the league - other teams were genuinely looking up to us because we were 'rich'. (with the exception of SunLun and a few others)

It shows what's wrong with football, when one of the highest spending L1 teams becomes one of the lowest paid Championship teams. And we could x our salary spend by 10 and we'd still not be a high spending Prem side.

Agreed, I don't really go to watch Barnsley to be 'entertained', I go to watch us hopefully win. Rather we play absolutely dreadfully and win 1-0 rather than play scintillating football and draw 3-3. All about winning for me. The number of times I've seen us 'play well' and lose to sh!thousery is in the hundreds. Makes me sick. Feels nice that we're now the ones winding people up. Also feel the criticism is harsh anyway, we play some nice football at times as well.
