    Got a call last night at 8pm saying that my son had been taken to hospital afer he developed a rash, after i arrived he was taken into resus in the A&E dept because they had to treat him for suspected Meningitis if that doesnt scare you nothing will. Taken upto the childrens ward around 11pm i left at 12:30am for 6 hours sleep before getting up for work then going straight to the Hospital to arrive home now (seestars)

    Thaey have confirmed he has some sort of infection but wont know for definate until tomorrow lunch time

    Fingers crossed for him that it'll be something and nothing. We kids are good at bouncing back quickly once we get antibiotics in our system.

    I know what your going through pal...


    They though my son had meningitis when he was 5 hours old....worst few days of my life...had to take him for 4 lumber punches before it was dignsed as an infection in the lining of his brain, he was on drugs for a few days then made a full recovery and continues to cause me worry and cost me a sodding fortune 5 years on....

    Hope your lad makes a full recovery(infact im sure he will)

    Just got home from another Hospital visit he still seems his normal self apart from not wanting to sleep in a strange bed

    eastander puts things in perspective mate just put my 2 year old to bed,i have 3 older boys also and would be worried sick if any of them take ill.Hope hes ok if this is any help was just looking on my sons facebook pictures he left school last week and he was pictured with his girl sweet heart of age 11 she looked lovely l and i remembered her being in hospital with luekamia at the age of eleven.He will be sound i pray to god for your family look afer him and god willing he will be up and running soon
