The thing is If loads of other games round here were off I could understand it. But they're not. I'm sat in work looking out of the window in Leeds, and there is not a smidgen of snow or ice to be seen. Just a beautiful sunny morning, perfect for football. I'd just like to clarify I don't think it's the club's fault though like some, just daft health and safety experts. If the club were found to have called it off inappropriately they'd be in hot water and I don't believe they're that daft.
If the "problem" is within the ground then its either lack of will to put on the game or incompetence in dealing with the problem on the ground.
to be fair i think we will benefit aving fozzie back in side, and gives us more time to get collace fit n get the boys playin together
I pointed out that there's ice on the stands....
...and have since been trying to field your increasingly bizarre attempts to disprove it or establish it as some kind of conspiracy.
If you need the last word you only have to say.

I think its you that wants the last word The only bizarre things here are your vociferous attempts to justify a bizarre decision taken by someone else not remotely influenced by you.
RE: That's fine for Leeds Utd! nt Aye, completely different climate in Barnsley isn't it? Next time I wake up on a Saturday and it's a warm sunny day here, I'll remember to bring my snow boots, hat and scarf to the match just in case.
To balance up Looking out of my back bedroom window, all I can see is the locality and the hills & fields in the distance covered in snow - ipso facto the match should be postponed.
Is there ice in the roof? Having seen what happened on the Severn bridges perhaps it's a wise move. We've been dripped on when it's raining, so water is getting through, wouldn't fancy a massive chuck of ice falling on me. Games called off, nowt we can do about it but find something else to do.
RE: That's fine for Leeds Utd! nt Well, on Thursday when Barnsley had another 2 inches of snow, I was at work in Halifax and we just got a light dusting. Similar distance from town as Leeds is, and usually gets worse weather.
What about Sheffield? No problem at Bramall Lane, and yet that's kicking off 3 hours earlier so one would have thought it would be more in doubt without the extra time to 'thaw'.
