    that according to the Barnsley Chronicle we lost out in signing Sean Gregan. He is only early 30s so he should have been offered same length as Oldham did and not just 18 months. Would have been a cracking freebie, who would have helped out the kids no end with his experience.

    gregan was offer 2 and a half year deal with oldham - davey thought that it would be imprudent to

    attach an old player to Barnsley for that long.

    Davey wanted him 18 month offered and Gregan was happy again in steps the agent to Oldham,the contract Gregan's agent wanted was 2 and half years taking him to around 35 big gamble but was happy at the 18 month contract offered.

    It's all about opinions i guess mate. But he would have been a much better signing then some of the buys/loans we have had to endure this season.
