Message to Simon and the squad. THANK YOU. What a past 2 week we have had. Beating wednesday for the 1st time in ages BRILLIANT. Shutting up the pikeys TWICE. To top it all off we go beat Charlton on their own patch. Its my 25th birthday on the 10th so for my birthday simon i want a win over the Blunts. That will be the best present ever.

I have publicly backed the reds on here the past few weeks when things looked bleak (ie. Moore, Macken last saturday) and im now glad the simons got the squad together playing the way we hoped they would before the season kicked off. Moore has been a rock in the back 4. Macken has his confidence back and Anderson and Colace look match fit and their season has only just started. We still need one or two additions to the squad to take us forward but tonight im a very very happy reds fan. The missis loves it when we win cos im a happy chappy but when we lose im a miserable git. Football eh?

One problem for next saturday, Foster is suspended with 5 bookings. Step Up Bobby Hassell. He wont let us down. Well done simon and the lads from a very happy reds fan!!!

    Fantastic enthusiastic post!

That's what it means to be a Barnsley fan. Spot on, been a fantastic time since the dee dar game. We are a decent side, win or lose, so get behind them and don't moan when we lose. We won't lose that many, if we keep playing like we are.

    Foster suspended?

Just had a look and it says he's only had four bookings?

I just couldn't agree more with you. I think we should cheer Brian Howard, and of course cheer even more when we get those 3 goals making the score line 3-0 :)
BTW, what a great result today! I am a tw** for earlier in the season wanting Davey sacked :D I love how he and the team have proved me wrong.

You're far from the only one who wanted him sacked.

I was screaming for his head (on here) after Blackpool, and again (from the stand) during the hopeless performance at Palace.

I hope he continues to prove me wrong!
