    I really hope the lure of New York doesn’t take him away from us because I can see him being somewhat of a modern day great for us if he keeps going as he has been.

    He speaks German in a very broad and harsh Austrian accent when he speaks to Patrick Schmidt. He says "Pipo, immer dran glauben, immer dran glauben!" which means "Pipo, always believe it, always believe it!".

    As someone who has been on the receiving end of his high-fives, it's like slapping a brick wall, very hard.

    I watched that video back and just winced throughout.

    Best January signing we’ve made!!! To not only focus on his own game but to influence and guide others the way he has is true testimony not only to his footballing talent but also his personal attributes. He single handily in a short space of time turned our defensive unit around and has helped others grow - quite remarkable to say he’s never played in England before. We wouldn’t be in the championship now if it wasn’t for the signing of big Sol. Top quality player and together with Anderson & Helik we’ve got one hell of a back 3 who’ll only get better the more they play together. Interesting stat about Helik he’s the only remaining centre back in the league who’s not been dribbled past this season.
