What a joke the UEFA champions league draw is

    How on earth can Inter be drawn in the same group as Barca?? Both domestic winners, and bloody Barca are reigning European Champions.

    I'm guessing UEFA will put it down to some bullshite like performance in the competition over the last few years, total rubbish. This is what you get with the people like Blatter and Platini involved, clueless.

    Its a conspiracy against Inter no doubts due to fact that they had a bother with them a few seasons ago against Milan in semi final, the fact that Materazzi wound up Zidane and that Jose now manages the nerazurri.

    Unbelievable, makes a total mockery of the name of the competiton, you win your domestic league for 4 years running and still get lumped in same division as a league winner and to make it harder european champions.

    Not a happy blue and black. Will be okay at about 21.40 Saturday when they have stuffed Milan.

    Yeah right - who cares, hopefully they'll get knocked out.

    Inter's record in Europe hasn't been great, hence they aren't a top seed, hence they could get drawn against Barcelona.

    How about the German champions being a 4th seed and in with Man Utd

    which means if they do finish 2nd they'll most likely get bloody Liverpool or Man U or Chelsea

    Because they should get through the group, which means they'd avoid Barcelona in the first knockout round.

    For the Champions League they base their seedings on how teams have performed recently in European games. That is what the competition is, European games. Its the only way to do it. What does domestic football have to do with it? Like Mario said, it should just be a free draw, but then we could have Barca, Inter, Man U and Chelsea in a group. Heaven forbid.
