Every team have an off day and at some time get hammered. Man utd lost to City by 5goals and others have done it. We lost to Ipswich last year after being 2goals in front at half time, they got 5 in the second half. Their is in my mind a reason for it this week. Our squad is not that big and some players have to do it all every match. They have travelled 400 miles round trip at Palace, and then another 400 miles round trip Tuesday at Cardiff. They were both hard matches. Today we did not play really bad but we were jaded. Our usual energy levels were low. We did not have that edge, and this made all the difference. Charltons goals were good apart from Steeles clanger. So lets not get arguing about today's match, it was a one off, a freak, let's get behind them on Tuesday and get three points off Derby. We are not dead and buried yet, and Flicker and the lads will be gutted, but they will bounce back. Never give in. Put today on Burner and let's push on
