Thank you fella. My mate had something to do at 7:15 and still managed to make the match. Although do you think he deserves a ticket for Liverpool? He's been to five away games and most home games pay on the day. But he's not a season ticket holder and if he hadn't rushed last night he wouldn't have had a Colchester ticket stub either.

 

But..

Just how many people who don't normally go to games actually knew any of that?

120 mile round trip for me and 75 quid gone,I honestly thought there would have been queues to get in especially with the Liverpool ticket incentive,dont think it was mentioned on radio Sheff though.We qualify as TRUE REDS.

Even with an ST, I was thinking twice about it - I certanly would not have paid £20!!!

The lack of an atmosphere indicated that most people would rather have been sat at home.

A bloke next to me counted them too, he got to 120.

Come on Jay, of course some bloke counting from a 100 yards away can get a more accurate number than the club that records entrants to the ground. Wonder if they all sat still and held a card up or something when he'd counted them ?</p>

 

From the West Stand the East Stand and Ponty End looked very full.
