I have been a red all my life and had a season ticket up to the 2004/06 season. Dur to other personal sporting commitments it was not viable to get season tickets. Forgive me but i got remarried in 2008 to a armchair Leeds fan following the birth of our child. Although our son was born in Huddersfield he had no choice but to support the reds. We have attended around 12 games a season upto the start of this season due to work and other commitments already mentioned. At the end of last season I decided to retire from my sport and mentioned to the wife about getting season tickets, she enjoyed the games but was not 100%; Our son has been desperate to go more. Anyway we did get the season tickets and wow, simply wow; we know next year will be tough but the football, effort and togetherness this season has brought the fans and town is better than the premiership feeling. I asked the wife a few weeks back, are we renewing.. she replied I have already done it, even though she knows i will be missing a few due to new work commitments! She is hooked for life now and has fully repented and apologised for earlier choices. Thanks to Stendel and the team!

That was a bloody slog, the 2004/6 season. Seemed to go on forever.

92 games that season, think Paul Hayes netted 67 times.

Sestren and Stephen Dawson like this.

I got a season ticket for my nephew for the last 4 or 5 seasons (he's now 11) and repeatedly tried to get him to come along. He did a few times. He loves football. Plays every Sunday but claims to be a Liverpool fan. I'd given up trying to get him along this season and didn't bother with a ticket. Low and behold back end of last year him and my brother started coming to the matches. I guess he picked a good season to take an interest. Anyway, they've both got season tickets next season :)

I stopped having one in 2013 after 25 years of being a ST holder after the birth of my first child and being particularly unhappy at something that Cryne and Shepherd did. It ruined my relationship with the club for a while and I decided that 100 mile round trips and writing off every other Saturday weren’t regularly worth it.

I won’t get value out of getting one next season but I’ve already got one for me and my son anyway. I love the way this board and team are building the relationship with the fans. It feels to me like the club I loved is back.
