2 months since I lost mine but whilst I get JSA, that is about it. Makes me sick when go to job centre and see state of some of the people and knowing they prob get everything under the sun paid to them.
Looks like I'm going to have to change direction in career and go through some new training. Just a matter of what is best at the moment.

me and my partnet cannot get working tax credit, yet the couple round the corner on a combined income of over 50k get every credit going!. I got asked several times about my partners income as that may affect my JAS claim. There were people turning up to the job centre late for n appointment, i'd be fecking embarrassed that if all i had to do twice a month was get my fat arse out from watching trisha and go sign a form and i couldn't make it on time. Bloke who saw me said that there were people in the building at the same time as me who hadn't worked since '84.

I know what you mean mate, woman who I see every week says the same thing. Whilst I want to get back into work asap the job needs to be right.
I think the tax offices just do a random pick for who gets what. At the moment just got the rely on the Mrs wage which is 20 hours and they say we can get bugger all help till the new tax year. Fair enough that isn't long now but not worked since 19th December.

only been off a week but i've already got sorted JAs awating approval, council tax form filled in, morgage forms filled in and two job interviews this week. I have a 75% chance of getting offered one. Saying that one job I applied for they have had 700 applicants for to posts. i cannot afford to wait for the right job as i am retail based skillwise!

I deal with Forecasting and Scheduling for contact centres and any positions that come available they are doing it internal, even if they don't have the experience.

    I have every sympathy

but quite why you blame the British government for a global financial crisis is beyond me.

    RE: I have every sympathy

    well....
our government and its regulators are currently trying to reduce the workforce of my workplace and replace it with foreign companies/workers/managers,
so yeah, i am concerned when they've just issued me with form for redundancy or reduced hours!
    who else do i blame?
