If you blame other factors as well as the referee ie inability to score, inability to keep the ball, inability to string 3 passes together and inability to defend properly then youre right. It was a shambles.
What. we played well today. The ref was against us and we could have should have had a pen or 2. He was booking are players and never there's. Andy gray must have a bad back after been climbed on all match.
Ref Is An Easy Target To Blame Football league show tonight will show he was right giving them a penalty and not giving us one for handball.
We didnt play well at all. We were very poor and below par. Apart from first 10 - 15 mins. Like Robins said = Lacklustre.
We played well ? ... blimey !!! After they subbed their fullback in the first half and changed formation they dominated until Boggy's goal.
we were the best tem for the first 15 mins, but then they took over, won everything in midfield, were first to the ball all the time, but 2nd half we did look the better team, it may sound starnge but the ball 'ran' for them too, still think we deserved a point!
Ref was from tyne and weir. Brain after we got that goal us was the only team attacking. I think if we got and scored that pen we may have won it. SNO/Nayatanga and there other cb should have all been booked.
i don't think we played well enough for the full 90 minutes, agreed we should have scored first but for a lot of the game we were second best, we couldn't string two passes together until anderson came on, the officials didn'thelp either.
Ehhhh ? Their Pen.... no comment</p> The handball... if in wasn't in the area I'll go to Spec savers</p>
RE: Ref Is An Easy Target To Blame I haven't seen it again yet but it looked well in the box. I thought he was questioning whether it had actually hit his hand but once they decided it had it was a definite penalty. Shocking decision. Their penalty looked like there was a bit of contact, but it was never a red card. Foster covering and Steele rushing out. Appealing should be a consideration. The ref was w@nk all day.
