Swansea boss Kenny Jackett is counting the cost of their 1-0 LDV Vans Trophy southern section final first-leg win over Colchester on Tuesday night. Top scorer Lee Trundle suffered a recurrence of his stomach muscle strain and faces another spell out. Trundle could miss Saturday's League match against Walsall and next Tuesday's LDV return at Colchester. "I don't know how long Lee will be out but obviously he had to come straight off the pitch," Jackett said. However, there is better news on Sam Ricketts, who had to be replaced after being sick on the pitch. Jackett says the defender's illness is "one of those things you get over pretty quickly with a couple of days in bed" and expects Ricketts to bounce back soon. Although staying in the League One promotion race is the priority, Jackett knows his team are just one match away from an exciting final just down the M4 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. "It's an evenly balanced game for the second leg, that's how I'd put it," Jackett said. "We've got a slight advantage but it's all to play for, that's what you'd take going into the second leg." Swansea were unable to play new loan signing Brent Sancho in the match because of a problem with the Trinidad & Tobago international's work permit. The Gillingham defender had to reapply because he was moving clubs and the paperwork was not ready in time, although Jackett expects it to be granted within a few days.
