<div>Relegated to a Sunday Morning slot on ITV, where most people don't know or care.</div><div>Now, I'm not saying that it should be peak time viewing, but bloody hell!, 24 mainly decent, and a lot of whom are well supported footy clubs should potentially attract a decent viewing audience if marketed properly.</div><div>Surely, if ITV bigged it up and advertised it a bit more and got in a couple of pundits to give opinions, the Championship could dish up a pretty decent and satisfying show. Instead, we have all the attention on the Prem at peak time Saturday night, while England's second tier of football, which will yield its 3 best sides to the Premier in exchange for 3 teams playing there at the moment, slips past without so much as a whimper.</div><div>We deserve better!</div>
i think you are right mate - i can see it developing over the next couple of seasons myself, especially considering the play off final has more money riding on it than any other game in the world and the prem money is now filtering down resulting in better quality players in the league.
agreed if ITV got there arses into gear they could offer us 300 million and go bust again.... or they could just make a decent fist of showing good football at a decent time....
At least it's not on at the same time as Countryfile this season... I missed all the goals while learning about sheep.
Try living in Scotland.... ...unless you've got SKY you can't get any coverage of probably the second most exciting league in the UK. The SPL doesn't even get an airing on domestic channels here until Monday night at some ungoldy hour. Boo hiss it's rubbish.
How about in morning on ITV1/2/34 and then afternoon on ITV1/2/3/4. Repeated again mid-week like 10 years ago. Can't be Saturday night as Premiership rules that roost, Saturday evening is no good as those travelling away from home wil miss.
