we hit form and suddenly we are play off contenders......not that long ago we couldn't string two passes together. I can honestly say before this run....it has been one of the worst footballing displays i have seen in decades.......truly awful. The daft thing is it could turn out to be a promotion season if this carries on!! funny ol game
It is a poor league and the sooner we're out of it the better. I just worry about how much we'd need to invest to even be competitive in the championship because we don't need any more annual relegation battles.

Don't think it's promotion material to be fair. Even though we won yesterday I thought some of our football was quite trash. Therefore it goes to show more what the quality of the opposition is like..... very poor.
We've won 6 in a row but we don't have the quality of a team that should win 6 in a row. A new club record has been set but will anyone remember this team in a few years time? We're lucky we're in such a **** league - it's worse than Sunday League football. The 28-game unbeaten run we had under Hunter was an outstanding team. This team is workmanlike but the only quality player we have is Winnall.

I don't think the leagues bad it's just really competitive. When we've had a near full strength squad, slightly easier fixtures, confidence & better organisation we've seen us put a run of wins together. Big test now comes as the fixtures get harder. Other than the Walsall game I don't think we've been impressive in any of our recent wins but it doesn't really matter. There's a team at the top of the Prem who've only been really impressive on a handful of occasions all season but they're well organised & hard working
Such an upbeat post. I'm glad you're not posting off th back of a 6 game losing streak. Our team doesn't possess the quality to win 6 in a row in a league that's apparently worse than Sunday league standard? Give over. We've had 6 deserved victories in a row in a league that's far better than Sunday league standard. What's more, we've not really looked much like conceding throughout that period, nevermind losing.
Can only beat what is put infront of us real test will be against preston and to a lesser extent sheff united see where we are after those games

Have you seen Bristol City at all this season? By all accounts they've not played "good" football but they've been clinical, conceded very few and their defenders Flint and Ayling have bagged lots of goals from set pieces. They are where they are on merit, just as we are. You don't have to play fantastic football week in week out to be "good".
Yes I did go yesterday. We weren't brilliant but we were better than Oldham and deserved to win. Just like we deserved to win the 5 games before it. But by all means, focus on the negatives. I prefer to focus on the positives after a run of 6 straight wins. It doesn't happen often and I'd rather make the most of it.
