at the Qwest Field stadium in Seattle (where Chelsea played a friendly recently). According to wiki, the stadium gets bloody loud and was designed for football. Sounds like what Wembley should have been then!

True although it still manages to pack in 67,000 for NFL games! Oddly, wiki reckons only 32,400 for "soccer" matches. Is the pitch that much bigger? Or is it due to crowd seperation I wonder?
All the tightwads will be sitting on that hill instead of paying in. A bit like they do on Sheffield Road, watching Worsbrough Bridge. Well, it's a quid in!
RE: True It's just because they don't sell the upper tiers because they don't get anywhere near that for "soccer"
I think it's to do with allowing airflow into the field etc., but I believe it is one of the loudest crowds in the NFL. Owned by a couple of Microsoft guys.
Strangely enough ...we played there a couple of years ago in a pre-season friendly. It attracted a bumper 4000 attendance Remember it looking very odd then as well http://community.seattletimes.nwsource.com/archive/?date=20060719&slug=sounders19
