If that was a British fighter fighting in America there would be absolute uproar - shocking

think Froch was definately out boxed but the guy did too much holding and didn't help himself. Think Froch is a tad fortunate but you have to beat the champ and I don't think Dirrell did enough.

Dirrell won three of the first four rounds

And then dominated the last four rounds.

Should never have had a point deducted either.

The young American had a gameplan, and it worked for eight rounds, then he turned it up three gears and Froch looked awful towards the end.

Its only because you dont like Froch

A bit dodgy to say the least tho` mate.
Dirrell posssibly shaded it, but it was very close and Dirrell did not help himself by holding a lot.

    Next up Kessler (Y)

Not the fight I was watching

    Think madmark62 has a point ;-)

I'm not sure that constant holding and occasionally flicking out a jab is good enough to take a title. Yes it was untidy. Yes it showed Froch's limitations but think there was only one man trying to have a boxing match. Had Dirrell shown more intent he would have won, possibly handsomely. It's all about perception, when only half a dozen punches are thrown in a round then aggression and intent have to be considered.
