http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29683379 Another pro footballer seemingly content with a big pay cheque and weekends off.
Whats up with these people? The guy has bundles of talent but appears to lack the application. As you say What a Waste. Perhaps if the large pay cheque wasn't forthcoming he would change his outlook, but then again perhaps not.
Fek me that's brilliant money for doing nowt! Paddy McCourt is the same though....can't be arsed. Dare say he is not on that money tho. Hth
Reminds me of that fat egyptian who took us for a ride and took a bundle of cash for next to nowt.. What was his name ? Midas or summat
A bundle of cash? Not sure the cash was flowing in bundles. Wasn't he on a similar wage to Vaz Te? Unless you've got Egyptian mixed up with English, and Midas mixed up with Mellis?
About as much chance of that as you posting anything remotely positive. Personally I can't see how they keep paying people like this, not prepared to put in the effort to be fit for work surely employer should be able to dock pay!
£5,000 per week, Mido. Same Summer, we offered Butterfield £4,000 per week on a 12 month contract to stay. Barmy.
I heard Harry talking about this and I just shook my head. The whole situation is an utter disgrace but like Ian Wright said earlier, Harry could do something about this. Another example of how money has destroyed the game.
Why am I not surprised? Perfect example of why, after decades of enjoyment, I've had enough of football and the so-called money men in it.
Was nothing to do with Keith Hill, the financial terms put to Jacob. He'd have offered him three times that. But the club knew Jacob wasn't going to stay and thus offered just enough to cover themselves to receive the fee set by tribunal. But I've no idea who agreed to pay Mido £5,000 per week.
Surely there must be a clause in his contract that says he has to train and stay in shape? There must be.... Or am I very naive?
