I was round at my parents house last night when that Skoda cake car advert came on. I can't quite remember how the debate started but Dad reckoned that it was all trickery & the car wasn't actually constructed entirely from food.

I saw the same advert recently & decided to see if I could find out if he was right. Turns out that the car was constructed entirely from various foodstuffs but, what surprised me was that not one piece of it was eaten. It was all disposed of & sent away to be turned into compost!

Didn't seem right to me either

But I found a board on a Google search where someone had contacted Skoda to find out about the making of the advert & posted the reply he received from someone at Skoda & that's what he said they did with it all. Also said it cost £500,000 to make!

    I read about that

By the time they'd finished filming, and with the heat from lights etc, it was going off!
