I was still shouting and bawling at the linesman when Winnall stuck the first one away. How they didn't give the penalty is beyond me. My daughter couldn't understand why I was still cross with the ref even when we scored. Looks like I'll have to work on her cynicism if she is going to become a proper Reds fan!

Couldn't believe he didn't give it. Winnall even stopped playing he was so sure it was a penalty. He was looking at the ref waiting for him to blow.

There was a big shout from a lot of our players for a handball in the first half too, although I missed that.

The other one was a good shout too, although wasn't anywhere near as clear cut as the foul on Berry. Their defender mistimed his header and it rolled down his arm and hand.

I don't think the handball was deliberate. He just headed it against his own arm.

Do you think he played advantage?

    Should have had 2

there was a clear handball early on first half.

The one where we scored looked a clear penalty on the replays.

On that there telly box thing, I personally thought it looked like he tried to make sure with a bit of a swan-dive after the contact. Maybe that made the ref's mind up.

I was more riled up with the deluded sat around me moaning and groaning that we were knocking ball around at the back. What do these people want hoof ball onto a 6ft4 centre half? Was cracking build up play in my opinion.

I was pretty amazed we didn't get pnalties for that one and the deliberate handball in the first 10 minutes. I was mid abuse whn we scored.

They were both clear penalties, but justice was done in the end. Thought ref was ok apart from the pen decisions, and one not to award them a corner in 2nd half when it took a large nick of one of our defenders. Much better than Mathieson last week at Sheff U, the blind old midget lovely person.

    Re: Should have had 2

I thought it was maybe just on the edge of the area, so ref would have given a free kick rather than a pen and therefore he played advantage.
