what an absolute debacle!

losing brian howard 1 month into season is a blow when you look at the prolific goal scoring players left behind!

if he didn't want to play for us then we had no choice but to let him go, however the clubs handling of the whole affair has been as shambolic as our start to the season.

the situation is reminiscent of when we let shipperley go and never replaced his goal threat which ultimately resulted in a prolonged stay in the s**t hole that is league 1, i hope history will not repeat itself but i can't see davey bringing in an adequate replacement to make up the goals scored column.

 

I think the semi final should have been a springboard for us to attract better quality players this season, but we have just got rid of one of our best goalscorers and i honestly don't know where the next goal will come from.

 

agreed! after last seasons cup run cash to invest in the team we should have been pushing up this league but it would appear daveys arrogance in man management will see us fighting the drop again..............
