http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22160271 Due to the financial fair play rules, West Ham are unable to sign a player that they can't remotely afford. No wonder Sam is so uppity, it's a disgrace!
i had the misfortune of watching the interview on sky yesterday.. made me want to throw things at the tv.... sam allardyce moaning on that playing by the rules isnt fair and he's going to throw the dummy because he cant spend 17million quid on a striker.
Is it so wrong for me to wish that the Premier league, Sky Sports and all associated bad influences would just implode, go bust and disappear forever.
No. I am already of the opinion that if / when a breakaway European super league happens, this will be the tipping point which finally alienates the top clubs from their fans, and yet paradoxically gives the game back to the real supporters further down the league. Or maybe this is wishful thinking on my part.
No, not wrong at all. The continuing waste and irresponsibility with other people's money will be the thing that stops me watching football at any level. I'm bricking it for tonight but in the long run I've just about had enough of it all.
