For me, this fans engagement thing is worse that a wall of silence. Can we just go back to non-engagement? Please. Rather than getting totally conflicting up, down, left, right information constantly, I’d honestly prefer nowt, cos that would be better than this nightmare. My heart complete sunk when I read some of the snippets on twitter, surely the games up when the Barnsley Brainless Society almost universally see through it as smoke and mirrors. What worries me more than the owners public determination to back an obviously incapable manager is the fact that said manager talks complete and utter anti football nonsensical rubbish. Can someone verify that he actually played football and that he’s not an imposter? Maybe he’s better with Powerpoint than (Master Crynes) spreadsheet, but either he’s trying his hardest to orchestrate his own sacking and severance or he’s going for the Guinness Book of Records for worst football league manager of all time. As for the mouthpiece Mansford, Ive heard more from The Full Ponty in the last 3 weeks. Clearly, we all need to pray that Jose doesn’t get fired and Roman weighs in with the readies to get Stones in a Chelsea shirt in January so Patrick can manufacture some form of graceful exist.
Re: For me, this fans engagement thing is worse that a wall of silence. Only going one way this isn't it ?
As someone who is normally one of life's optimists, I'm struggling to remember feeling as low as this with regards to our club since Administration. The only news coming out of the there appears to be bad. Whether it be injuries, lack of confidence, lack of form, lack of self belief, no initiatives to turn things round. A very sad state of affairs, with few, if any, obvious signs of potential improvements. After my pathetic, pitiful whining, the lads will probably go and beat Coventry tonight now!
Kev, I'm distinguishing between the lads on the pitch and those who run things. It's all over the place off field. Not much better on, but one is a symptom of the other.
No worries, old mate. I'm just in one of my frequent, sulky, Drama Queen moods and can't even engender enough enthusiasm to throw a hissy fit.
