    hang on

According to the fans, we have a decent crop of players who just need a manager to get them playing.

So is it the manager or the players?

    Re: hang on

Shush stop pointing out things that go against their flimsy argument of why danny had to go...! Danny got rid of the players that got us relegated, that we couldn't afford. Brought in winnall, hourihane, lalkovic, ramage. Gave debuts to smith, Holgate. Yes he also brought in some duds like Lita, Treacy and brown on free transfers but was shipping them out.

But none of that is worth mentioning.

Danny was building a team put together for less than £700k that was going to stay up this season.

So the board panic and sack him. And his players are as shocked as everyone.

And we get hammered by a team we all rightly know we should have beaten.

But yeah. Today's result is still Wilsons fault.

Chalk **** on it. We have clowns in the boardroom and a few clowns on here.

    Bring back Wilson.

Not really. They've not played like that all season. It's by far the worst performance of the season & it's come the game after Wilson got the sack. That's no coincidence.

The new manager isn't stuck with a useless & gutless team it's just that today's team were feeling sorry for themselves.

If they were useless & gutless they'd be playing like that every week but most of them have been playing to their capabilities

Clearly a comment from the players on the weeks events. Can't say it's one I'm happy about at the same time I can't say I blame them.

Priceless - folk that were hammering Wilson and calling for his head are now moving onto the players. When will the haters realise how on earth was Wilson supposed to get it right in half a season.

    Beggars belief.

Cryne, Mansford and his cronies are the ones that should be given the chop. How on earth are we to trust them in

    a. finding a new manager
    b. appointing the right manager and
    c. actually doing what they said they were going to do.

They have had a hidden agenda and the mask has slipped. Lies and deceit and it all stinks.

Well the managers gone. We were away so we can't blame the ball boys or the bloke who sits in front of me with the rubbish beard so there's only them players left.

The whole thing is the farce. All those wanting Wilson out may as well join PC and Mansford for their quick fix love in. Knee jerk reactions for a quick fix. I just hope they are now happy. I know 1 game isnt really fair to say I told you so but can any of them say they could see us doing that with Danny in charge?

Im even more riled today than i was when they sacked him. Logging off for the night i think before i blow a fuse.

Happens everywhere when there is a sudden change in management - particuarly if the old boss was popular with the workers. They are al worried about their future, and quite possible righty so.

The club is really in the doldrums. I have no confidence in the board to make a decent appointment but think Wilson was doing a pretty bad job too. But deep down sadly I'm not that bothered. Money rules football to such an extent that Barnsley's chances of ever really competing at a decent level of football have gone. We might recover one day and get back up to the Championship but without some seriously big investment we can't compete at that level so realistically League 1 is where we belong now. And it just isn't value for money. The football is mostly tripe and not worth £25 of anyone's money. From next season it'll be non league for me, a fiver to get in and a good laugh. Saw SLA win 3-1 today at Armthorpe Welfare...2 sendings off, a hat trick for Lee Morris and a 15 man scrap in the second half. Quality. Up the Ducks!

So why do you post so strongly in favour of keeping DW on?

In a Charles Hawtrey kind of way?
