    my worry is that

The Blunts will roll over for Scunny on the last day if a result for Scunny takes us out of the top six... Its just in the Blunt Bastads nature to do that

Absolute nonsense. You might think their fans are cnuts but the players and staff are professionals with no agenda against us.

Apologies for any confusion. My response was directed at DTs post about the Blades rolling over. You don't get the timeline view on Tapatalk.

and if you believe that the hierarchy of football clubs

are always professional.. never have agenda's or axes to grind then you are the most naive person on this board totally. So you cannot have ever heard the Alex Ferguson rants... the Kevin Keegan Rants.. the outbursts from the various chairmen on POG... seriously fella take a peek over the parapet... its not all as honourable as you think. Just recently look at what the Chairman of Peterboro ranted about our game with them, and think back to the day we drew with Huddersfield and they went down and their hierarchy really bleated about both teams playing for time and as such THEY went down... think it through matey... I will always remember Grahame Souness buying Craig Hignett from us, Hignett spent most of his time on the Bench... but Souness was quoted in the press to say... " That's Barnsley less of 20 goals next season" sorry my friend but Football is rotten to the core

funnily enough that was on my mind today when the awful Posh lost to Scunny, and it had me thinking of Posh's bitterness agenda against us. i dont reckon teams do that sort of thing but it makes you wonder doesnt it when it comes to the Blunts.
as for wigan, remember we did well there in the jpt this season and could have won it before the need for pens, and they might be champions already and maybe not quite as serious as us. maybe!!

    Won 14 drawn 6 lost 2
oh and scored 38 goals in the 22 games

think we might get a point but all 3 would be a big ask

good win on sat against Colchester and hopefully a point will be enough to pip Scunny who are the most likely team to pip us now. Can see them getting 6 points

hopefully results go our way though next weekend and we are already safe.
Ha what am I thinking. I expect us to go into the last 10 mins at Wigan with us needing to score or not concede one goal to get there. Similar to Huddersfield a few years ago

If we can beat Colchester, Gills cannot afford to lose , and Scunny must win to stand a chance of catching us.

I remember going to Wigan many moons ago on the last day of the season and the best player on the pitch was a pigeon that landed in the centre circle. Honestly, it must have been there for an hour and the game was that bad the ball never got near it.

If they are up, we will win.

Strange how the team we're worrying about changes after each game.

First it was Coventry, look at where they are now.
Then it was Bradford who now seem certain for a playoff place.
Then it was Millwall and Wallsall we were looking to catch.
After Gillingham's bad run it looked like them who would drop out.
After Rochdale's good form it looked as though they could overtake both us and Gillingham.
Now it's Scunny who have come from nowhere.

Scunny will lose next week and Gillingham will somehow manage to get 3 points and we'll be worrying about them again all of a sudden.

    How quickly things can change.
