Thought he looked very accomplished, especially considering he was on the wrong side as it were.

Wasn't really tested defensively due to our complete domination but looks a good signing on initial evidence. May be worth an extended deal in January.

looked very tidy and comfortable on the ball, as did everyone. will be interesting to see how he does against slightly less inept opposition though.

Hard to say, didn't do a great deal but didn't look out of place either. Wouldn't want him playing RB, plenty of cover in that position.

He had an opportunity to whip the ball in to the box with his right foot in the first half but cut back on to is left. Rubbish.

Rochdale reject, send him back, Hill out, etc etc

    Played very well

And looked comfortable on the ball. Initially, I see him as being an accomplished back up to Golbourne.

I liked his composure, I liked that that he looked to pick a pass rather than just play percentage balls into channels. I didn't like the fact he always cut inside onto his left foot. He looks like he could do a job as cover on the left, but I'm not convinced he's a right back. That said, if he plays more matches and continues to show a good degree of competance, I'd extend his deal by a year or so.

Didn't notice him too much which is usually a good sign in my book

A competent but totally one-footed performance. Not a right back and to play him there again would be a mistake.

Didn't Denis Irwin make a career at playing left back although he was totally right footed.

Did very well being thrown in so soon. Quick thinking on the throw in made the fifth goal. Bigger tests to come sure, but a lively, enthusiastic lad and potentially a very useful member of the squad. Keith seems to have the golden touch at the moment.
