Far too early to judge yet

You may be correct with the suggestion a period out on loan could be of benefit to the lad.

Looks like he needs to get down the gym a bit, seems pretty slight.

Looks a good player against the younger lads but not seen him play enough games against the adults to see how good he is going to be. Yesterday wasn't the right game to play him in in my opinion. He's lightweight, small and fast and this has its advantages but also it's disadvantages, the main one being that he'll never win a battle of strength against big lads which is what was needed yesterday.

I think he was put on yesterday to feed off anything played in by stones or any little balls played through the minefield of the 10 behind the ball ipswich had. Does need to go out on loan but not while silva is fit then i think he will.

Can't really comment as have not seen enough first team action to judge. He was buzzing around yesterday though didn't really appear too effective, the parked bus might have had something to do with it. Don't agree about the loan spell just yet, would get lumps kicked out of him and not have the protection of Hill & Flicker. Saying that, the time is right for RNL to go out and decide if he wants to be a footballer or not.

All this hes not strong, sorry but its a load of S**t.

Don't let the body size make you think he can't deal with tough stuff.

On Monday i saw him go up against Zak Whitbread, Zaks not a small guy.
Daniels got a very good leap and hes a tough determined player. He gets kicked so many times in every games to the point if they bring him off he's straight in to ice packs around the ankles.

Needs to be sent on loan for game time. Should have got on the end of the cross yesterday to tap in and found himself offside twice.

At the supporters' meeting in August

Keith Hill mentioned that at this stage of Rose's development, a spell out on loan may be a big help. However, the loan spell would have to be at a club that has a similar footballing philosophy to Barnsley's.

Saw him end of last season and was really impressed.........good reader of the game, which is vital for a striker. Also very brave. No nerves.

Very much in the Michael Owen sort of mold..........small and very quick..........so why does he need more weight?

Once Danny Boy gets a foot hold in the first team he is going to be there for a long time

Light weight, not ready, not big enough, not tough enough, not hard enough.

Send him and Lazarus to Rotherham for 3 months

I see him more as a Kevin Phillips type.

He'll never shirk from taking the shot. If/when he establishes himself in the side the goals will flow.

Re: I see him more as a Kevin Phillips type.

Make or break for him this season I think, comparison's with a young Michael Owen are fair but he doesn't seem to have the speed that allowed Owen to get away from defenders or for people to be scared of making a challenge. Either needs to bulk up or be much more direct in his play.

Like with Clark, if he's really good enough then surely a club in League One would take him on for a while.

Playing in front of the play yesterday. Therefore at least two off sides and in the back of the net before the ball once. A tremendous prospect who requires more experience. Games needed above acadamy level, therefore loan when possible. Send him to Crewe for a couple of months.
