Do we want to stay up by any means possible? If so then surely Gary Megson would be the best option. Yes he's direct but he will tighten the defence up and make us hard to beat, giving us a great chance of survival. Or do we want attractive football but with the probability of going down? Sean O'Driscoll could be a possibility, he would get us playing lovely football, but we would need to be very very patient as I feel with SOD it would mean relegation and major rebuilding in league 1. Or do we want more of the same? David Flitcroft would be the cheap option, but would he be any good? Or do we take a gamble on an unknown quantity, an ex red in the shape of Darren Moore, or current player Bobby Hassell. Decisions decisions Pat and Don.
Staying up this season is paramount in my opinion. Anything else is just not important to me at the moment. Relegation will be utterly disastrous for the club.
All over Twitter saying Bobby should be given the caretaker job, touting Darren Moore as well. To me he's lost all credibility - not sure how impartial you can be when you're so close to players. If Bobby had been playing and we'd still been losing would he have been so critical? Can't see it.
Are you as gutted as me about him going? Still struggling, could break down at any minute. Next best thing is Flicker...
Suppose he's just offering an opinion, much as we're doing. Never read chron anymore, this Fridays will be full of it.
There's a line though when you're being paid to inform and present the facts. No wonder Keith called him up a few times with his nasty voice on.
