What do you reckon BFC generate through season ticket Sales?

    I'd probably guess at 2 Million..

    If prices remained as is should the worst happen I would probably guess at losing 500k off that figure..

    Reckon that seems about right ?

    If we lose a quarter of our season ticket holders i'd be disapointed.

    No your a bit of the mark there. I was told recently, to generate a £1.5million playing budget next season (which would equate to a bottom 8 league one playing budget ) we would need to average crowds of 13,000. Clearly to be competitive next season, if we go down, we need Patrick to throw in a few million quid (again) and/or the people and businesses in Barnsley to support this football club.

    So you have been told that based on season ticket sales our budget in L1 will be bottom 8? I'm baffled to see which 16 clubs would get higher gates than us unless we are saying that our prices are way below what others will charge?

    Perhaps we should ask to drop straight into L2?

    Can I ask about that? Does it imply that pretty much every team in League 1 is being backed with millions by their owners seems unlikely. Wouldn't 13,000 crowds be third or fourth biggest? I don't understand the economics of being in top 8 for attendances which I'm pretty sure we will be against stating this will only get us a bottom 8 budget. Something doesn't stack up there.

    Our prices certainly on a match by match basis are comparatively expensive. I think the cheapest one at Bramall Lane is 17 quid

    Those figures seem very pessimistic to me gally. Unless most of our ST holders are concessions.

    This is a reply to Gally but it won't allow to respond to him directly - I think someone is pulling your plonker.

    I don't know what other revenue League One clubs have that we don't have but bearing in mind FFP is already in place, how can we possibly need to average 13,000 to have a bottom eight budget when only three clubs average more than this - and one of these gives tickets away with the Argus.

    Really does not add up.

    Doing a little research the average wage bill in league 1 is £2 million.

    Don't what they are currently but I know a couple of seasons back we had the highest concessions in the league at close to 60%

    1,500,000 / (13000 x 23) = £5.02
