What happened at Notts County last night was out of order.

LJ needs time to bring his own players in and out his stamp on the team.

That's why I'm hoping that the failure to react to what County had changed was a one off.

They pushed their full backs forward which essentially pushed John and Winnall back leaving Ibhere isolated. What we needed to do was push Winnall up top and Scowen/Berry wide so that we could pressure their centre halves and force them into a long kick or pull the full backs back again.

    6 players needed

No. It was what proved to be an incorrect tactic. When LJ has his own players in a full pre-season! hopefully these flaws will be ironed out. In last night's interview he alluded to the panic defending and how we should be more composed in coming out of defence. I take warmth in that he's recognising and talking about our deficiencies and think he will rectify these as much as possible.

I can already name 3 or 4 games that LJ's tactics have cost us. Cant see him being here too long myself, hope I'm wrong.
