yes it was a counter attack.

PEople will say i'm getting on at Steele but should he have come for the ball. It looked in front of him and he punched behind the player and made it easier for the striker to score.

Now it happens quick so what do you think especially the pontyenders

The cross should never have been allowed to come over. Steele came, but he didn't get there before Beckford who beat his man and glanced into the top corner.

The cross shouldn't have been allowed. Strangely I agree with you on Steele this time cos I don't think he should have come out for it. But I'm happy to be proved wrong when I see it on tv.

If Beckford had missed the ball Steele would have caught it, but then who knows he could have fumbled it too.

I think he had to come for it. It was 5 yards out. If he doesn't, he's beaten anyway in my opinion.

The fault lies with Foster and Wiseman.

I thought it was Church who beat Foster to cross?

Correct. Mistake 1: Foster allowed the cross, mistake 2: Steele came for it but should have stayed on his line at his near post, mistake 3: Wiseman lost his man completely. All three played a part in what was a poor goal to concede.

Steele had little choice but to come.

Beckford was by himself and had a free header. Wiseman was no where to be seen, Foster was well away from him.

Stones should have done better with the cross, but the marking on Beckford was non-existent.

Just to repeat myself, I thought it was a very good goal. You can look to blame players for any goal you concede if you really want. On this occasion I wouldn't. Great bit of pace, lovely cross, fantastic movement, excellent header. Well played Huddersfield.

I honestly think Steele would have saved it had he stayed on his line. Wiseman should have done a lot more to defend the cross when it came in. I agree that Foster and Wiseman have to take the lions share of the blame in my opinion.

Mistake 1 Mellis ducking out of tackle on half way line, the rest follows on. But then I thought that Steele ought to have beaten Beckford to the ball.

Having said all that, they are not a play off team. With better fire power we could have won.

3 weeks ago at Charlton, we were awesome. Davies is key to our form. And Dagnall persistently attacks defences even without the goals he is a major contributor.

Did you read the bit where it said at OAKWELL mate?
We seem to be better away from home because the home team have to come at us, at Oakwell we still play like they should come at us and it does not work.
