what happened to being "radical?"

im as pro-Hillcroft as they come, which im told regular enough.. im also pro-BFC in most things but i do see the opposite arguments, that others put out there, and i can understand their points. i dont often agree but i do get it, sometimes.. lol
but im a little concerned that this season could easily mirror the last in squad/transfer terms.. i dont mean the cost, or what prices we are paying. i mean its clear we have a lower end of League One budget..
what im referring to is the statement that the club made regarding Einsteins theory of madness..
because at this stage, we have many players new to the squad (as we have done every year it seems).
we also have 3 loan players that we have zero chance of keeping permanently (bit like last year with Tripps, Mellis, McShane etc).
And having heard The DON earlier on deedar, he made it obvious that we would be using the loan system some more.. he even mentioned the exact week/dates that it opens and closes.. so yeah, we are going to be getting MORE loans.
so all in all, arent we doing the exact same thing as last year and expecting different results?
albeit on a financially scaled down budget..
im hoping im wrong. im hoping someone can maybe ease my concerns..
also, we have a fair amount of players out of contract next summer, again.. Gray, Buttercup and Sir Bobby to name 3.. are we quite happy to let them leave? arguably 3 of our best players. definitely 3 of our most experienced at this level. id guess that even Butts has played 100 games or so now..
but hey, im probably worrying over nowt.. as i said at the start, im a positive percy. im generally optimistic. but even im in desperate need of a bit of good news..
it has been a strange week for me like, what with having split with the girlfriend, plus ive been off work for 2 week. so maybe ive just got too much time to sit and worry!

 

Only difference is we will bring in loanees of lower quality than before, not that I think that some of the last lot of loanees were of great quality. But instead of players that have some quality, eg. Harewood, Trippier, Mellis etc. we will be getting players from other clubs around us, like , Addison, Park etc. Maybe we will get the best from them, hope so anyway.
