Hinting at terrorism. http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE55059220090601?pageNumber=1&virtualBrandChannel=0
doesn't seem like it's hinting at terrorism to me It says a bomb can't be ruled out, but that's it. It's more concerned with the alarming weather conditions that could have taken the plane down.
An entire article taling about the bad weather that the plane will have experienced but its hinting at terrorism because of one sentance halfway through that actually starts with "No reason to believe terrorism"?
I'd be very surprised if they didn't find it They know where it was last 'seen', they know it's projected flightpath and they know where it didn't reach so the search area will be narrowed down considerably.
RE: I'd be very surprised if they didn't find it Said on news earlier that they "checked in" at the last radar near Brazil. There is no radar in the Atlantic and so the Pilot's should "check in" at hourly intervals. They did not. Could have travelled anywhere in an hour
It could have travelled anywhere but most likely it wil have been on its flightpath still or at least close to it so they'll know where to start searching. About 40 minutes after it was last on radar it sent out a signal to say it had electrical problems so presumably it was still in tact at that point. So they'll be able to start their search from around the area that it 'should' have been 40 minutes after its radar point. The are they'll be searching in will most likely be quite small compared to what we'd imagine it to be (small will still be a few hundred miles no doubt). They'll also be able to get information from boats in the area as well to eliminate areas or include them
even if it did change course after that hour or so... so still have a radius there to check. parts will begin to float anyway so something will get spotted. getting to the wreckage on the bottom is a whole different game
