Maybe Mark Robins couldn't understand why someone working on a unofficial BFC website had a desk at Oakwell when we have an official website all of our own. That's purely speculation on my behalf.
I get the feeling he was gone with Davey. Maybe he was doing it all at the request of Davey? For PR, spin, whatever.
A lot of people have said that, but why could Mark Robins decide something like that? Surely there are other people in the club who are responsible for the websites etc and make these decisions. Besides, barnsleyone.com has been updated since Robins' arrival.
I would imagine it takes the new manager of a business a few weeks to get his head around who everyone is and what they are there for. You don't go around slicing and dicing on your first day. Maybe after a couple of weeks he got to asking who this guy was and what he was there for? Of course, it could be nothing to do with Mark Robins. I'm merely speculating. But if I was the manager of a company and a so called independent journalist had a desk on the company's property I'd certainly ask myself why and I'd probably come to the conclusion he was surplus to requirements.
Maybe he is just updating it every now and again for contractual reasons. He has got some advertising on the site, presumably he will be paid for that so needs to keep the site going. He is no longer working from Oakwell though, I think so anyway.
