Barnsley have lost there only full time person at bored level. Do a club like Barnsley need a full time person at the club at board level? Will the club bring in someone else to be a full time head spokesmen at the club?
ok haha very funny. half thinking about this and half thinking/ watching Essex vs Surrey. Anyone got an opinion on the comments i've made
What now ? Let me tell you what now. I'ma call a coupla hard, pipe-hittin' n@@@@@s, who'll go to work on the homes here with a pair of pliers and a blow torch. You hear me talkin', hillbilly boy? I ain't through with you by a damn sight. I'ma get medieval on your ass.
We don't necessarily need anyone at board level working full time, but we do need a general manager or club secretary or whatever you want to call them doing the full time job that Don Rowing will vacate at the end of this month. This could be an executive director or it could be someone filling the position who is not on the board. Maurice Watkins was not brought in to do this job. He's not here to micromanage. But it will be his expertise and contacts that are utilised in order to identify and bring in the right person.
It was mentioned today that there would be a new general manager. Unless I imagined it. Let's hope we get a good un, and not some lovely person trying to make a name for himself. I've applied, btw. So that's one lovely person right there.
